Medical

Medical device wire and cable assemblies built under revision control.

Diagnostic, imaging, laboratory, and patient-connected equipment depends on interconnects that behave identically every time. We build to your controlled drawing, test every unit, and keep records that fit your device history requirements.

Capabilities & standards

  • High-flex and high-strand-count constructions for moving devices
  • Shielded assemblies for low-level signal and imaging equipment
  • Overmolding and sealed transitions where cleaning is a factor
  • Builds locked to a specific drawing revision
  • 100% continuity and hipot testing with records per lot
  • Certificates of Conformance and material traceability

Repeatability is the requirement

Medical customers rarely ask for something exotic. They ask that the thousandth assembly be indistinguishable from the first, that any change be documented, and that records exist if a question comes up two years later.

That is a process problem, so we solve it with process: documented work instructions, calibrated tooling with crimp validation, inspection against IPC/WHMA-A-620, and 100% electrical test with retained records.

Where we sit in your supply chain

We are an assembly manufacturer, not a wire mill. We purchase the wire and cable your specification calls out — including high-flex and shielded medical constructions — and manufacture finished assemblies that pass your incoming inspection.

If your documentation names specific approved components, we build to those part numbers. Substitutions are proposed in writing and approved by you, never made on the floor.

Devices that move, and devices that get cleaned

Articulating arms, carts, handpieces, and cabling that gets flexed thousands of times need stranded constructions and terminations that tolerate motion. Equipment that is wiped down or sterilized needs sealed transitions and jacket materials that survive the chemistry.

We build overmolded and heat-shrink-sealed transitions, apply strain relief where flex concentrates, and follow the handling and packaging requirements your documentation defines.

From development build to sustained production

Early-stage devices change constantly; approved devices must not change at all. Running both in one USA facility means design iterations move fast, and once the design freezes, production follows the same controlled path without a supplier transition.

FAQ

Common questions

Do you build wire and cable assemblies for medical devices?

Yes. We manufacture wire harnesses and cable assemblies for diagnostic, imaging, laboratory, and patient-connected equipment, built to your controlled drawing.

Do you perform wire drawing for medical devices?

No. We are an assembly manufacturer. We buy medical-appropriate wire and cable to your specification and manufacture it into finished, tested assemblies.

How do you handle device revision control?

Builds are tied to a specific drawing revision, and changes are handled as a documented revision rather than a floor adjustment.

Can you support cleanliness and handling requirements?

We follow the handling, packaging, and cleanliness requirements defined on your documentation. Tell us the requirement and we will confirm what we can support before quoting.

What documentation do you provide?

Certificates of Conformance, material traceability, and continuity and hipot test records per lot.

Ready to spec your build?
