What OEM buyers actually need from an interconnect supplier

Price matters, but it is rarely what causes pain. What causes pain is a late release, an assembly that does not match the print, or a supplier who cannot tell you where your order is. OEM supply is a schedule and communication problem as much as a manufacturing one.

We structure the relationship around that. Your part number, your revision, your labeling, your dock date — with a named USA-based Sales contact who can reach the floor and give you a real status rather than a guess.

Transferring an assembly you already buy

Moving an existing assembly is routine. Send the drawing package, or send a sample unit and we will document what it takes to reproduce it. We identify obsolete parts, unclear callouts, and tooling requirements up front so the first article is a confirmation, not an experiment.

You approve the first article before volume moves. Nothing about your line changes except who is shipping the box.

Built into your production plan

Blanket orders with scheduled releases give you locked pricing and predictable delivery without holding a year of inventory. For programs with variable demand, we work from your forecast and stage material so a pull-in does not become a lead-time conversation.

Packaging is part of the deliverable. Kitted by assembly, bagged and labeled per unit, or bulk-packed to your standard — however it needs to arrive to move straight to your line or your stockroom.

Quality your incoming inspection will accept

Assemblies are built to IPC/WHMA-A-620 acceptance criteria under our ISO 9001 quality system, with continuity and hipot testing per your requirements. Test records, material traceability, and Certificates of Conformance ship with the lot.

If your customers audit you, the documentation trail behind our assemblies holds up — and we support first-article inspection packages when a program calls for one.

FAQ

Common questions

Do you private-label assemblies for OEMs?

Yes. We build to your part number, mark to your label format, and package to your requirements so assemblies arrive ready to stock and ready for your line.

Can you take over an assembly from another supplier?

Regularly. Send the drawing package or a sample unit; we document the build, quote it, and prove it with a first article before you shift volume.

Will you hold my print revisions?

Yes. Work instructions are tied to your drawing revision, and we build the revision on your purchase order — never a superseded one.

Do you support scheduled releases?

Yes. Blanket orders with scheduled releases let you lock pricing and pull inventory as your build plan requires.

Who do I talk to about a new part number?
